Private Dining

Salon Table
This semi-private table located on the second floor of the restaurant can accommodate eight to ten guests. Beautifully appointed, this area is partitioned off by French doors and large floral arrangements, but still has a view of the other dining rooms. The Salon Table is perfect for a special birthday, anniversary celebration or "power dining event."

Chef Trotter will prepare a spontaneous menu for you and your guests which can be personalized with a special greeting or salutation at the top of each menu. Our sommelier will be happy to assist you in planning your wine selections for the evening.

The Studio Kitchen
Located adjacent to the restaurant, the Studio Kitchen offers a unique private dining opportunity for parties of 12 to 20 seated guests.  This lovely area may also be utilized for standing receptions for up to 40 guests. In the Summer months there is a garden area which may also be utilized as part of booking this room. Designed to have a decidedly residential look, this open kitchen is the setting for Chef Trotter’s PBS cooking show, The Kitchen Sessions with Charlie Trotter . Whether you are hosting a dinner for business or a special occasion, the Studio Kitchen is the perfect setting.

Chef Trotter will prepare a custom menu for you and your guests which can be personalized with the wines you have pre-selected for the evening. Our sommelier will be happy to assist in planning your wine selections for the evening. The studio kitchen can also accommodate slide, video, or Power Point presentations.

Large Groups and Weddings
Charlie Trotter’s is comprised of three intimate dining rooms with each room accommodating thirty to thirty-four guests. Located in a 100 year old vintage brownstone, the dining rooms are on two floors. The second floor dining rooms can accommodate groups of thirty-four to sixty-six and the first floor dining room can accommodate up to thirty-two guests.

The flexibility of these three dining rooms works perfectly for larger groups and weddings where several different types of activities need to take place. Our Studio Kitchen can also be reserved in conjunction with your event.
