In keeping with Charlie Trotter's commitment to pairing food and
wine, Trotter's To Go could not be complete without a serious, yet fun and
interactive wine program. This educational and unique approach directs the
enthusiast to the appropriate wine selection, not by region, but by wine style.
Shoppers are guided through the superior and affordable wine
selection via easy to read color-coded note cards. Stylistic descriptions
of a particular wine style are paired with a listing of foodstuffs that
marry well with a particular wine. For example, a particular style may
be called "Crisp, Racy Whites." Your card might then suggest that foodstuffs such
as goat cheese, tomatoes, fresh herbs, spicy greens, oysters, kalamata olives, etc,
would be a fantastic match.
Keeping in mind today's hurried schedules, however, we make
every attempt to keep shopping as easy as possible. Free and ample
off-street parking is available in front of the store, and items are always kept
ready in self-serve cases making it easy for guests to make their selections and
